English-Speaking Hiking tour
Hiking, Snowshoeing and Backcountry ski tour in the Echigo-Yuzawa area.
Experience some of the heaviest snowfall areas in the world. Our local guides will take you on the best route based on the day’s conditions and your schedule. Snowshoe tours are suitable for first-time participants.
During the green season, we offer day hikes and multi-day traverse hikes.

■Tour Locations
Kagura / Naeba / Echigo-Yuzawa Forest / Mt. Tairappyo / Mt. Mikuni / Hakkaisan, etc.
We'll arrange it according to your request.
■Meeting Point
Snowshoe Tour: Echigo-Yuzawa Station at 9:00 a.m.
Backcountry Tour: Kagura Ski Resort parking lot at 8:00 a.m.
The meeting place may change depending on the venue. Meeting times can be adjusted—please inquire before making a reservation. We can also pick you up at your accommodation near the station or meet you there.
Depending on the distance of the pickup/drop-off, fuel costs may apply.
■ English-Speaking Tour Rates
Private Tour Rate: ¥88,000 per day, per group
Maximum Group Size

Snowshoe Tours: Up to 10 participants per guide

Backcountry Tours: Up to 5 participants per guide
■ Rental Gear
・¥3,300 per set
Includes: snowshoes, poles, and avalanche gear (beacon, probe, shovel)
・Snow boots are available to rent for an additional fee.
・Splitboard: ¥5,500 per set
■Travel insurance is required.
Please make sure you have travel insurance in your home country that covers hiking and backcountry skiing before traveling to Japan.
■ Tour Lunch
¥900 per meal
You can order a special tour lunch prepared by a local restaurant. Made with seasonal vegetables and locally sourced ingredients, it’s a delicious way to enjoy the flavors of the region.
Allergy-friendly and vegan options are available upon request.
■ What to Bring
Please come dressed for snow activities. Required items: Snow wear / snow boots / knit hat / gloves / drinks / sunglasses, etc.
